Project Highlights:
Erin and Eric of Queen Creek, AZ, had been avoiding their master bathroom for so long that they’d resorted to using their guest bathroom shower instead. It’s not hard to understand why—their master bath had an awkward layout with the shower positioned directly in front of a large window. Yes, you read that right: the window was actually inside the shower. Despite the frosted glass, privacy was still an issue, forcing them to hang a shower curtain over the window. Add to that the lack of a bathtub (which Erin really wanted) and minimal storage, and you have a bathroom that simply wasn’t working for this couple.

After following Ledezma Remodeling on social media and seeing our work, Erin and Eric knew exactly who to call. They had plenty of problems to solve and features they wanted to add, but they didn’t know where to begin. That’s where our design team came in.
Reimagining the Space
Our design team took on the challenge of transforming their existing bathroom by completely reimagining the layout. We relocated the shower to a more strategic position, which allowed us to create dedicated zones for a walk-in shower, a spa area with a free-standing bathtub, and an enhanced vanity area. The goal was to add more features without making the space feel cramped—and we succeeded. Remarkably, the finished bathroom actually feels larger despite having more functionality!
Luxury Details That Elevate
We designed this bathroom with upgraded luxury tile that makes a stunning visual impact. The tile extends all the way to the ceiling inside the shower area, spans the entire back bathroom wall, and wraps around the bathtub area. Even the window sill received the full tile treatment. These thoughtful details created the elevated spa aesthetic Erin and Eric were dreaming of.
The shower itself is a showstopper, featuring not only a standard soap niche but also an upgraded foot niche—perfect for shaving and additional storage. The shower fixtures include a luxurious rainfall showerhead, a diverter valve, and a handheld wand sprayer mounted on an adjustable slider bar, giving them complete control over their shower experience.
A Vanity Area That Works
The new vanity area features a beautiful free-standing vanity with a white countertop that perfectly complements the bathtub in the spa zone. We installed elegant wall sconces alongside four recessed ceiling lights with dimmer capability, allowing Erin and Eric to set the perfect ambiance. Storage was a priority, so the vanity includes drawers, double shelving, and floating shelves—no more struggling to find space for their essentials.
The Perfect Finishing Touch
Erin and Eric also wanted privacy in their bathroom and a way to avoid disturbing each other during early morning routines. Our solution? A stunning knotty alder barn door that serves as both a functional privacy feature and a beautiful design statement. It was truly the cherry on top of this renovation.
A Complex Transformation
This project was more involved than your typical bathroom remodel. We relocated the shower entirely, moved plumbing lines, added a bathtub where there wasn’t one before, removed both a full wall and a half wall to open up the space, upgraded all lighting, replaced the entire tile floor, installed new baseboards, and repainted the entire bathroom including the doors. And because this was an upstairs bathroom, the complexity and logistics were significantly more challenging than a first-story renovation.
The result? Erin and Eric finally have a master bathroom they love using—no more trips to the guest bathroom! Their new space is functional, beautiful, and perfectly tailored to their lifestyle.
